Her book is a must have for parents who want to create a love of books in their home. So many great ideas! The book can be searched by subjects and authors as well as titles.

If you are not yet convinced of the power that reading aloud has on people then this is a MUST read. The Read Aloud Handbook provides amazing facts and figures about the power of reading aloud. Mr. Trealese's website features excerpts from his books, continues on the books lists of great reads for every age, and presents his lecture information.

Daddy Read - This site aims to provide great reading suggestions for children age 0-6. The site was started by two dads who loved to read to their children. They noticed that when the children were old enough to listen to chapter books finding ones that were good, simple, and suitable - was tough. The website was born out of this search. Unplug Your Kids - This site is a great place to look for all sorts of activities to do with your kids. The site hosts a weekly unplugged challenge which is a lot of fun. The Unplugged Mom has also reviewed a few chapter books she found suitable for her younger kid.
